Originally hailing from the Land of Lincoln, Chris ventured across the prairie, the desert, and the mountains, before finding himself on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, he earned a BA in Cinema, somehow became a salesperson and manager, ran a fancy video footage ingestion rig, finagled his way into business development, and finally threw it all out and started over by studying Front End Development at UC San Diego.

In addition to learning HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, JSX, jQuery, and a whole bunch of related technologies, Chris has previously worked in contract writing and analysis, business development and oversight, personnel management, budgeting, and writing scopes of work for business and construction. In 2022, he participated in a 12-week, instructor-led ServiceNow platform training, with the goal of earning ceritifications in ServiceNow system administration and ServiceNow implementation.

Outside of work/school, he is teaching himself CAD, writing fiction, and designing custom action figures. He does not - usually - refer to himself in the third person.

Chris resides resides in San Diego with his spouse, as well as a preschooler who believes he is, in fact, Spider-man.
